New Delhi: As part of his nationwide outreach program against central government ordinance, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal on Friday met Jharkhand counterpart Hemant Soren in Ranchi.
Interacting with media persons after the meeting, he said BJP may introduce Ordinance in Parliament during the monsoon session.
“This Ordinance will be introduced in the Parliament during the monsoon session. BJP has a majority in Lok Sabha but not in Rajya Sabha. So, if all non-BJP parties unite, this Ordinance can be defeated. This is not only about Delhi but about the federal principles of the country,” said Arvind Kejriwal.

Kejriwal reiterated that the Centre did not want the Delhi government to work which is why they brought an ordinance against the Supreme Court verdict that allowed the Delhi government to control service-related matters in the national capital.
Earlier on Thursday, Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday met Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK president MK Stalin over the matter of the centre’s ordinance on a Supreme Court order.
Interacting to the media after the meeting Arvind Kejriwal said that the centre’s ordinance against the Delhi government was undemocratic and unconstitutional.
“We discussed with him today the Centre’s ordinance against the Delhi government. It is undemocratic and unconstitutional. CM Stalin has assured that DMK will stand by AAP and the people of Delhi,” said Arvind Kejriwal.
MK Stalin said the BJP government is pressuring the Delhi government and AAP by using LT governor, he also assured support for APP in opposing the ordinance.
Kejriwal is on a nationwide tour to meet opposition leaders to assure support for the Aam Aadmi Party’s fight against centre government ordinance.
