New Delhi: Former US President Donald Trump on Thursday was arrested on Thursday in a Georgia case in which he was indicted of fraud and conspiracy. However, the former US President was released on bail on a bond of $200,000.
Trump was placed under arrest at the Fulton County Jail in connection with an indictment accusing him of trying to overturn and manipulation of the results of Georgia election 2020.
On social media, Trump said, “This is yet another sad day in America.”
Under the terms of Trump’s bail agreement, he agreed to refrain from any form of ‘express or implied threats’ against any accomplices, witnesses or non-indicted individuals who may be involved to the conspiracy.
