Swiss International Air Lines’ cabin crew members are under investigation by their displeased supervisors following their involvement in a incident where they were observed dancing and taking pictures on the wing of a Boeing 777 airplane.
The video recording of the incident, which has since gone viral, was recorded by a passenger waiting in the airport terminal.

In the video, a female flight attendant is seen dancing on the aircraft’s wing, followed by a male colleague who joins her. Later, a third individual, believed to be a senior cabin chief, also makes an appearance and begins striking bodybuilding poses.
In addition to the aforementioned events, the video clip also captures two ground crew members situated on the tarmac, posing for a photograph right in front of the airplane’s engine.
The video, recorded earlier this month, has ignited a sense of displeasure within the management of Swiss International Air Lines.
In response to the widespread circulation of the video, the airline released a statement asserting that such behavior “will not be tolerated.”
Swiss spokesman Michael Pelzer emphasized the seriousness of the matter, stating, “What looks like fun in the video is life-threatening. The wings of the Boeing 777 are about five meters [16.4 feet] high. A fall from that height onto the hard surface can be devastating.”
He further emphasized that crew members should only access an aircraft’s wings in dire emergencies, such as evacuations. Mr. Pelzer continued to criticize the employees’ actions as unrealistic and risky.
The incident prompted significant concern from the airline’s higher-ups, including Vice President Martin Knuchel, who expressed anger and disappointment. As a result, a halt to such antics was called for, emphasizing the seriousness of the matter.
